Daniel works in our research and development team in Zibo, China, where he applies his comprehensive expertise. His main work areas are the technical support of our sales staff as well as our customers.
Daniel has been an integral and important part of the team ever since our factory in Zibo was opened in 2007. His long employment period is nothing unusual in our company. We are proud of the fact that Refratechnik has an excellent working atmosphere worldwide, so that people like Daniel get fully absorbed in their work with us.
What really fascinates me in the R&D department is that something new always comes up. It’s certainly not a routine job. Every day comes with new challenges and possibilities for optimizing the solutions for our sales staff or to meet customer needs.
In Zibo, Refratechnik produces high-quality chrome-free basic refractory bricks and unshaped refractory castables – with a continuous brick production capacity of 40.000 tons per year, plus an ultra-modern production line for castables with 15.000 tons per year. As in all of Refratechnik’s production sites worldwide, sustainability also has priority in Zibo. For Daniel, this is particularly important in addition to all the professional advantages. As a technician, he highly appreciates that our plants work with the latest processing methods, and that the high-temperature kiln is fired with alternative fuels.
Daniel enjoys the positive atmosphere at Refratechnik. He sees the people there as a team that works together at eye level. Even though opinions differ occasionally, everyone is in agreement about the common aims: Together, they want to continuously improve Refratechnik’s products and refractory technology.
Moreover, Daniel appreciates the lively and dynamic working environment at Refratechnik, where fun and exchange in an international context play a decisive role. In this environment, every voice is heard and every opinion is valued, thereby contributing to our culture of equal rights and respect.
